After thought: Daaang. *sore body*
While the 50 black belts were doing their kata (karate choreography), everybody had to follow along including me.
So I learned a bit of that.
Had some subway for lunch, along with the leftovers I brought home for my housemates.
Then a banquet.
Where there was lots of food, talking, and congratulations.
And obviously that is not (never is) what I got out of it.
Other than training, I got to meet some other LU students starting karate.
Made the friendship between Spencer and I much less awkward.
Experience talking with different kinds of people.
Realize that many people think that I know other martial arts.
Invited a LU frost to Laurentian Christian Fellowship.
Meet a Sherman in the bus stop and found many similarities. (like dancing, karate, science, thoughts on where we lived, etc)
Shared with my housemates about karate.
I am starting ballet in November.
Btw, did I mention that I may start up a club for dancing next year?
I don't see myself as a leader, so I might not head it.
But it's an idea.
I'm thinking about making it a place for inspiration.
Where people come and contribute what they know, this way 'you will get out, what you put in', kind of thing.
Yeah, I'll see.
I'm also a model for the Photography club.
Haha, no.
I might be.
Or I might be taught how to do better photography, which would be great.
Now, I just have to fit in my 24 page reading and 5 page essay that is due in 3 days.
